Visited by the rich and famous from around the world, including Hollywood stars, royalty, and dignitaries, Bigwin Inn first opened its doors in 1920. With plenty of water sports to be enjoyed, including boating, swimming, or simply relaxing on the dock, Bigwin Island will quickly become your paradise. There is plenty of space for your summer toys, including kayaks and canoes plus winter storage for snowmobiles. Also included are BBQ areas, well maintained tennis courts, a volleyball court and a small playground. The condo building is accessible year-round by ferry and snowmobile (excluding lake freeze up and thaw periods) . Transportation to the island is included in the maintenance fees.
